We began the process by Better Happy surveying the staff (anonymously) to get an understanding of the team and how they are feeling not just at work but outside work too.
With this important info they tailored 2x 1/2 day sessions for each of our staff in small 'mixed' groups.
They absolutely nailed the brief, staff came away with their own insights in to how they tick and got some practical health advice & tips along the way.
The interactivity kept the staff engaged and the feedback has been amazing.
We plan to continue working with Better Happy for the staff to develop further.

I didn’t really know what to expect when work said we were going to be taking this course. Having done team building sessions before I thought, at best, it might be a bit of a laugh. However I’m actually shocked at how much the sessions have helped me – I’m really going to miss them! The result of the course is that I have a more positive mind set, I’m moving more, I'm sleeping better so I’m less tired (as a mum of a toddler, that is nothing short of a miracle) and I feel like I have a better understanding of myself. In simple terms, I just feel happy. It's brilliant – simple as.with Better Happy for the staff to develop further.

I loved doing the strengths and motivators quizzes. You don’t often get to dig that deep into your own ways of working and what you’re good at/need to help motivate you at work, especially as a manager - you often spend a lot of time taking about others. I would do things like this every week if I could. I was also surprised at how much I enjoyed the movement workshop!

The statistics that have been shared throughout the course have been eye opening regarding all the topics that have been covered. Loads of reference material is available and able to use with our teams. Learned loads about myself and the type of person I am strengths and weakness. Gained loads of ideas of ways to tackle issues and learning my true values was really key as actually all decisions I make are based upon them. Thoroughly enjoyed the course. Only feedback is that I wish I was held accountable more with actions after each course. Loads of homework was set but as there was no accountability I didn't complete them all.

Better Happy changed my outlook on what it meant to be healthy! For most of my life I’d thought that counting calories and trying to motivate myself to go to the gym was what I needed to feel good and be healthy...How wrong was I! It’s much simpler than you think and with some education and key points/tips from the better happy workshops I attended through work, I was able to implement some easy steps into my daily routine which means I feel great. Not only that I got to share everything I learnt with my family who joined in too. We now make a conscious effort to eat well as a family, get enough sleep and be active! Thanks Better Happy-you’ve made a real difference to me!
